How do I order Big Canyon Pet Food?
It's easy! On each product page, you can choose either a one-time purchase or set up a subscription with recurring Autoship deliveries at any interval you'd like—from once per week to every 16 weeks, or anything in between.
You'll also have the option to choose your delivery method (Ground or Express), as well as your payment method. We accept all major credit cards, along with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.
What is the shipping process for Big Canyon Pet Food?
We ship our delicious Big Canyon dog food and treats directly from our warehouse to any location within the United States. Shortly after you choose Ground or Express shipping and place your order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email from Big Canyon. Within 1–2 business days, you’ll receive a shipment notification email with tracking information from either USPS or FedEx.
On delivery day, we expect your pup will be wagging their tail as their Big Canyon box or envelope arrives!
Please note that shipping times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected. Ground orders typically arrive within 5 to 7 business days, while Express orders usually arrive within 2 business days.
Orders totaling $50 or more qualify for free Ground shipping.

Can I track my orders?
Yes, absolutely! The easiest way is to use the tracking link in the shipment notification email you’ll receive once your order is out for delivery. You’ll typically get an order confirmation email shortly after placing your order, followed by the shipment notification within 1–2 business days.
If you’ve created a Big Canyon account, you can also check your account page to view the status of current and past orders.
How do I know when my order will arrive?
Within 1–2 days of placing your order, you’ll receive a shipping notification email from Big Canyon with tracking information from either USPS or FedEx, sent to the email address you provided. Shipping times can vary depending on your location and the shipping method you choose. However, Ground shipping typically arrives within 5 to 7 business days, while Express takes about 2 business days. (We’re happy to offer free Ground shipping on all orders over $50!)
If you don’t see your shipping email and you created a Big Canyon account, you can also check your account page to view the status of current and past orders.

How often is Big Canyon Pet Food delivered?
You have the freedom to choose between one-time purchases or recurring Autoship deliveries. For Autoship orders, you can select how often you'd like to receive your products—whether it's once per week, every 16 weeks, or anything in between, we've got you covered. Our feeding guidelines, available on each product page, can also help you determine how often to order (or how often your Autoship subscription should recur), so you always have a fresh bag ready without worrying about running out.
Can I change the frequency of my orders?
Just click here and select the 'Manage subsciptions' link to reschedule your orders.. If you need your food sooner, no problem! And if you need to delay a shipment for any reason, we'll happily accommodate that too. We're here to make your dog's dining experience as convenient as possible!
How do I cancel my subscription to Big Canyon Pet Food?
We'd be sad to see you go, but we understand things change. If you need to cancel, pause, or reactivate your plan, just click here. We'll guide you through the process and make sure everything is taken care of. Remember, we're always here if you decide to come back.
How much food should I buy for my dog?
Specific feeding guidelines are available on the product page for each Big Canyon recipe, based on your pup’s weight and activity level. For quick reference: the guidelines for our Adult Chicken & Multigrain recipe are [here], Senior Chicken is [here], and Adult Ocean White Fish is [here]. Once you get a sense for how many cups per day you'll serve, you can use the estimate that there are about 3.5 dry cups of food per pound in each Big Canyon bag to figure out approximtely how long your chosen bag will last. How should I determine portion sizes for my dog?
Portion control is key to a healthy diet for your pup. At Big Canyon, we've got you covered for all dog sizes. The right portions depend on your dog's size, and it's always smart to consult with your vet for their expert advice.

Each Big Canyon Recipe has it’s own feeding guidelines, which can be seen in more detail on the product pages. How often should I feed my dog Big Canyon Pet Food?
We want to keep your pup's taste buds delighted and their energy levels soaring! It's best to follow Big Canyon's feeding guidelines on our website in the product section for each individual product or on your specific Big Canyon food or treat bag. But to be extra sure, we always recommend consulting with your veterinarian. They know your dog's needs best and can determine the perfect feeding frequency based on their age, weight, and nutritional requirements.
Can I add single items to my Autoship order?
You can add individual items to an upcoming order by modifying your subscription and selecting the 'add more products' option. That way, your dog will have all their favorite treats and meals conveniently delivered in one package.
What if I'm going to be traveling?
Adventure awaits, and we're here to accommodate your plans! If you're going on a trip, no worries. You can either delay your shipments or change the shipping address to have your dog's food delivered anywhere within the U.S. We want to make sure your pup never goes hungry, no matter where their paws take them.
How do I know if the food is safe to feed when it arrives?
Safety first! If the package is intact, hasn't been tampered with, and shows no signs of damage, you're good to go. The food inside is ready and safe for your pup's delightful dining experience. What if my food was damaged in the shipping process?

Every Big Canyon recipe has been developed by leading pet nutrition scientists to provide complete and balanced, optimal nutrition for your four-legged family member. From the start we collaborated with the Pet Sustainability Coalition to locate earth-friendly sources for our ingredients and packaging, and we are committed to ongoing efforts to achieve even greater sustainability in the future. We’re proud to use no animal byproducts—just thoughtful ingredients that help lower our carbon footprint, reduce food waste, and save water by making the most of what’s already grown. We believe good food should never go to waste. Our packaging is earth-friendly too, with bags made from post-consumer recycled materials and fully recyclable shipping boxes. Sustainability is an ongoing journey for us, and we’re always working to do better.
Are your packaging materials earth-friendly?
We're dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment through our packaging choices. Currently, we use Post-Consumer Recycled materials in our bags and 100% recyclable shipping boxes to reduce waste. But we're not stopping there! We're actively seeking out even more sustainable packaging options, including materials that are recyclable, biodegradable, and have a lower environmental impact. Our commitment to sustainability extends to every aspect of our business, and we're continually striving to make our packaging as eco-friendly as possible.
Do you support any environmental or conservation initiatives?
At Big Canyon, we believe every bowl of food should do more than nourish—it should give back. That’s why we commit 5% of all net profits to causes we care deeply about, and we’re guessing you do as well: animal welfare and environmental protection. From supporting rescue shelters and adoption efforts to funding sustainability projects that protect the planet we share; every purchase helps create a better world for pets and people alike. How should I dispose of my packaging?
Our bags include Post-Consumer Recycled Materials, which is great as we reuse materials that would have ended up in a landfill and increased our carbon footprint. That being said, it has officially been used to the end of its life and needs to be disposed in a trash bin.
All our boxes are 100% recyclable and can be put into your recycling bins. We are always looking to improve our packaging and will explore new ways that allow us to further decrease our impact on the environment.

My dog doesn't like the food, what happens now?
Aw, we want your pup to enjoy mealtime to the fullest! When transitioning your dog to our food, we recommend starting by mixing a small portion of the new food with their current food. Gradually increase the proportion of the new food over 7-10 days while reducing the amount of the old food. This slow transition helps your dog's system adjust to the new food and prevents any tummy troubles.
However, if your dog still isn't a fan of our food, don't worry! Let customer service know by email at CustomerService@BigCanyonPet.com. You can donate your shipment and receive a refund. We want to ensure both you and your pup are happy!
